About Us
CADA is committed to building a sustainable Capitol Park neighborhood that captivates city dwellers and inspires the people of California. Resource conservation and smart growth, principles pioneered by CADA in partnership with the State of California and the City of Sacramento are key components of CADA’s urban properties development and management endeavors. At CADA, we believe it’s time for city life. City life provides time for making a living; time for friends and family; time for personal fulfillment; and time for civic engagement. City Life is a viable path to a sustainable future.

CADA has parking spaces available within the Capitol Area (5th-17th, L thru R Street). A listing of parking space availability at our lots is published every Wednesday at 1:00 PM and may be picked up at CADA's administrative office at 1522 14th Street.
The Capitol Area Development Authority (CADA) is seeking a feasible way to relocate the 40’ by 40’ foot front portion of the Art Moderne apartment building located at 1517 N. Relocating the building would make it feasible to preserve this 4-unit structure for the future. CADA is seeking property owners in downtown Sacramento who might be willing to site this structure on their vacant land. CADA has funding available to pay the reasonable costs of the relocation and will donate the building itself.
