Please know that rents are still due during the COVID-19 pandemic period.  However, for residents who have been financially impacted by COVID-19, CADA has provided a Hardship Notification and Accommodation Request Form (PDF) that can be filled out and submitted to our office.*  Please keep in mind that this from needs to be submitted prior to your rent being late.  Rents are considered late if not paid by the 5th of each month.  Once the form is submitted with all supporting documentation, CADA will respond to your request via your preferred method.

The hardship form was created for residents who have have the following types of circumstances: household or family member sick with COVID-19, reduction of work hours, childcare-related loss of wages, temporary lay-off/employer closure, self-quarantine during the state of emergency, permanent lay-off/job loss, and we will also review other reasons for income reduction resulting from COVID-19.

*CADA will consider all requests on a case-by-case basis, documentation is required to support a request, and CADA has the sole discretion to decide whether to grant or deny a request.

Our office is currently not open to the public, but rents, forms and other correspondence can be dropped off through our night drop box located on the East side-Northern corner of the building at 1522 14th Street.  We encourage anyone with a financial hardship to still pay rent and submit the completed form with payment in the drop box by 4/5/2020, or email the completed form to tharville@cadanet.org, or fax it to (916)324-6060. Forms can also be mailed to the CADA administrative office (1522 14th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814), but mailed forms will take longer to process.
