SACRAMENTO, CA – – – The City of Sacramento, Capitol Area Development Authority, Midtown Association, Downtown Sacramento Partnership, and R Street Partnership have partnered to ask those who work in Downtown Sacramento to provide input on Downtown housing options and opportunities. Respondents who are willing to provide contact information to the survey site, SacDowntownHousing.com, will be entered into a drawing for one $25 gift card to a Sacramento area restaurant, such as Burgers and Brew, Frank Fats, and Tank House.  A total of 100 winners will be selected from the total number of entries received.  The survey opens Monday, April 3, 2017 and will be open through Monday, May 15, 2017.

“We feel it is important to gather this survey data to help inform agencies like CADA, the City, and private home builders on what different people want.  We may find an audience of potential residents who are health-conscious and want a shorter commute, a second residence in the city, or even a reverse commute.  Once we know the “who” we can know “what” to build,” said Capitol Area Development Authority Executive Director, Wendy Saunders.

Participants’ contact information will be held separately from their survey responses.  To be eligible for the drawing, participants must work in Downtown.  Participants can enter by visiting SacDowntownHousing.com and following the instructions provided at the Sweepstakes Site.
